Body of Miss Labinski Here For Funeral Today
Miss Mary Labinski, 35, daughter of Mrs. Antoinette Labinski, 931 South 23rd street, who left Manitowoc several months ago to be employed at Evanston, Ill., was fatally injured in that city last week.
Miss Labinski stepped from a street car near the home where she was employed into the path of an oncoming taxicab. She had attended church services earlier in the evening. She was removed to a hospital but injuries which she sustained caused her death Friday.
The deceased was born in this city in 1900 and attended St. Mary's school here. Until her departure for Evanston she always made this city her home. Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Antoinette Labinski, city; four brothers, Victor, Charles, Anthony and Frank, all of this city; and four sisters, Mrs. Leo Rathsack, Mrs. Andrew Handl and Mrs. John Turczyneski, all of this city and Mrs. Peter Labinski, Grand Rapids, MIch.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Labinski home and 9 a.m. from St. Mary's Catholic church with interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
The body was brought to the Labinski home on South 23rd street from the Shimek & Schwartz funeral home.
