(1906 - 1969)

Leo B. Lichterman, 62, of 1310 A. 21st St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Church Cemetery.

Mr. Lichterman was born Nov. 6, 1906, at Kewaunee, son of the late Bernard and Francis Gallenberger Lichterman. He came to Manitowoc in 1943 where he married Caroline M. Katnner May 1, 1944, at St. Mary Church. Before he retired due to ill health in 1967, he had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. He was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Mary Church and a 25-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 607.

Surviving are his wife, a son Erwin of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and three brothers, Theodore, of Kewaunee, Joseph, of Appleton and John, of Two Rivers. A sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. and Eagles Memorial services will be at 8 p.m.
