He was married twice according to 1980 cemetery book at library. Cameron Herrell (#47967691) The will of George Clem would indicate that death occured in 1865.

Reportedly killed by Jayhawkers because of "Southern Sympathies". Reference in Seymour County Banner. "The Ramfield and Kinfolks" by Novella Wilson, states that when he went to the door he was shot and killed. Daughter Kitty was two month. So this was aprox Apr/May 1862. George's will was probated 01 Jan 1865.
