MRS. BESSIE ELIZABETH ADAMS, of 196 Berksons Ave., died Sunday at the Washington County Hospital. Born in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Daniel and Lelia Washington.
She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church, the Helping Hand Club and the Charles harden Post 74, Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Tyrone E. Adams of Hagerstown and four brothers, James E., Walter D., and Charles Washington, all of Hagerstown and George Washington of Luray, Va.
Services were held at the Kings Apostles Holiness Church of God. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
