Services for Mr. Claude F. Langston, age 76 of Kerrville, were held on March 31, in the Grimes Funeral Chapels with Rev. Neil Kibbe officiating. Interment was held in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Langston passed away on March 29 in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Langston was a resident of Kerrville for six years and a prior resident of Houston, was born December 6, 1912 in Palestine, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kerrville, had served 35 years in Law Enforcement, retired from Houston Police Department and also Harris County District Attorney's Office. He was a graduate of the first Houston Police Academy in 1939. He was a WW II veteran, served four years in the U.S. Navy and married Bonnie Howard on September 5, 1937 in Houston. Survivors include; wife, Mrs. Bonnie Langston of Kerrville; sons, Ken Langston of Houston, and Doug Langston of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Pearl Kite of Palestine; brother, O.B. Langston of Palestine; three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapel.
