Obituary

   George W. Deeds was born in Miami county, Indiana, June 23, 1873, and died at Enid, Okla., March 31, 1920, age 46 years, 9 months and 8 days.
   From Indiana he moved to Kansas with his parents in early childhood. Here he grew to manhood, when he moved to Oklahoma in 1894.
   He was united in marriage to Effie A. Stoner, December 31, 1900. To this union were born five children, two of whom died in infancy. The loving wife and mother died December 26, 1918.
   He leaves to mourn his death three children, Hazel, aged 13; Glen, aged 9; and Gerald, aged 4; aged father and mother, three sisters and five brothers.
   In early manhood he confessed his Master, uniting with the M. E. church, and remained a faithful member until death claimed him.
   The funeral services were held Sunday at the M. E. church in Garber, conducted by Rev. Brown. The burial was made in the family lot in the Garber cemetery.
