While having no children of her own, this wonderful lady raised several kids, including my mother (see Doris Larsen) worked for many years as a dietician at a local hospital, when forced retirement, went across town, fibbed about her age and worked at the other hospital for 10 more years. She was a loving adoptive Mom, Grandmother and friend to many.
