Johnnie Bell Tapley Findley, 77, of Hardeeville, SC died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Hospice Savannah with her family at her side.
She was born and raised in Jeff Davis County, GA and had lived in Hardeeville, SC for the past 30 years. Johnnie was a Bookkeeper and later worked for Deer Run Apartments in Hardeeville where she retired as manager.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Findley; an infant son, William E. Findley, Jr.; parents, John and Juanita Tapley and a brother, Sammie Tapley.
Survivors are a daughter, Melissa Mincey; 2 sons, Bruce Findley and Jimmy Mincey; brothers and sisters, Georgia Nell Ray, Frances T. Floyd, Kenneth M. Tapley, Atha Richert, Troy Tapley, Aubrey Tapley, Becky Stewart, Tony Tapley; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Burial: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Little Flock Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins, GA.
