Edna Ross, 89, of Acworth, died Sunday, July 22, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Wednesday morning in the Crossroads Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Turner and the Rev. Jimmy Tibbets officiating.
Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Ross will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the funeral service.
A native of Cobb County, Mrs. Ross had lived in Acworth for most of her life. She was a retired X-Ray Technician, having worked for over 20 years for Drs. Coggins, Holiday, and Mims in Marietta. She was a member of the Contemporary Historical Vehicle Association and the Crossroads Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Grady Ross, and is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Sherry Ross of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Shane Garner of Taylorsville and Stacy Agan of Birmingham, AL; great grandchildren, Jessica Garner, Cody Garner, George Garner, Nikki Friedman, and Jacie Agan; sister, Louise Wable of Marietta and Bob Cole of Acworth; several nieces and nephews.
