Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Crawford.

He is survived by his fiancee', Vicki Perchalla; his mother, Linda Crawford; his sister, Tammy Goodman and her husband, Steve; two nieces, Mallory Goodman and Addyson Goodman; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jimmy graduated from Garland High School in 1981, where he was nominated as Most Talented and also served on the year book staff. After high school, Jimmy received an Associates Degree from the Art Institute of Dallas.

Jimmy is most remembered for his incredible talent and vision. He was inspired by his father and strived relentlessly to carry out the Crawford legacy, which he achieved with great honor and respect. His passion and creativity lead him to meet some wonderful people from all walks of life who became his lifelong friends. He has left his mark on the hearts and on the cars of people worldwide.

Jimmy had a gentle nature and humble presence that put all who met him at ease. He had a quick wit with an unmatched sense of humor and was rarely seen without his beautiful smile and twinkle in his eye. Those who spent any amount of time with him grew to love his contagious laugh and couldn't help but to laugh with him.
