Aged 89 years.∼Phares Bobo son of Ezekiel Bobo and Sarah "Sally" Wren grew up on a farm near McArther. That part of Athens Co. became Vinton Co. in 1850. Sometime after finishing school he traveled northwest to Blackford County, Indiana. Here he met and married Julia Ann Peck, daughter of Samual Peck and Susan Shidler. They were married 12/24/1857. They had 7 children.
