Ray E. Clough, 82 was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Clough. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and a retired Boston Maine Railroad employee. He was one of the last members of the Lt. Charles Field Camp, 51, United Spanish American War Veterans, disbanded in 1957. He had served with the Army in the Philippines during that war.

He was survived by his widow, Nettie Putnam whom he married on June 11, 1904. They had lived in Windsor before moving to Greenfield.
