She was born Feb. 13, 1917, in Woodstock, the daughter of Almer and Lilly (Schroeder) Aavang. On March 4, 1939, in Woodstock, she married Lawrence Worm, and they farmed all their married life in Greenwood Township.
She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Paul, (Peggy) Miotto, Miss Sally Worm, Mrs. Forrest (Patricia) Ray Jr., and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Sporleder, all of Woodstock; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Ethel) Wilcox, Woodstock; and four brothers, Elmer Aavang, Wonder Lake, Clarence Aavang, Huntley, and Rodney and Victor Aavang, Woodstock.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Irving E. Stangland officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday in the Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Chapel.
Burial will be in McHenry County Memorial Park cemetery
