He was born on January 24, 1939 and passed from this life on Thursday April 25, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was a retired machinist from Summit printing, a member of the Christian Faith. He was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints, had a passion of Big Band music and loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred Sr. and Clara Douglas Allen, son Jamie Lynn Allen, sister Sue and niece Tammy Renee Moore.
Survivors include daughter Angela Stovall; siblings James, Danny, Linda, Liz and Roger; grandchildren Bradon and Shelby; also survived by Deborah & Howard Mahoney, Lana Cotton, Mike Allen, Lawana Moore, Lisa Allen; great nieces & nephews Chris, Cody, Samantha, Ashley, Kyle, Kandace, Katie, John, Lacey, Pete, Veronica, Bradley and Keith; special great great nieces & nephews Natalie, Makayla & Nathan Walls.
