Val was the daughter of Olga (Del Cotto) Games and the step-daughter of the late Howard Games. Her biological father was J. Conrad Murphy, with whom she had no relationship.

I addition to me, her memory is cherished by her beloved son, Richard L. Ruzek; her sisters Linda and husband, Terry Cox, and Tina Games; her brother Rick L. Games; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

We became instant best friends the day she moved in next door. We did everything together. She loved going for long rides in the car. Especially on out of the way country back roads. We almost always got lost. We liked the adventure of seeing where the roads took us. She also loved walking around cemeteries. The older the better.

She died from breast cancer. She had a lump for two years before she finally had it checked.

Ladies, please get those mammograms! Gentlemen, please make sure the women in your lives get them!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Though your smile is gone forever, and your hand we cannot touch,
We still have many memories of the one we loved so much
Your memory is our keepsake with which we'll never part
God has you in his keeping, We have you in our hearts

Sadly missed, but never forgotten.
