Viola R. Ingram, of Bel Air, MD, and formerly of Hanover, PA, passed away October 23, 2013.

Born August 15, 1922, in Biglerville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Pauline E. (Miller) Cool. She was the wife of the late Dallas E. Ingram who died June 7, 1980.

Viola was a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, Hanover. She retired from Black & Decker of Hampstead, MD, following several years of service. Prior to this, she was employed by the former Doubleday of Hanover.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy L. Ashlaw of Bel Air, and Linda Barwick of Hampstead, MD; five grandchildren, Cathy Barwick, Karen Gann, Danielle Freburger, Amy Barwick, and Timothy Barwick; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Cool of Hanover, and sister, Mabel Garrett of Hanover.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Casper; and brothers, Norman Cool, John Cool and Guy Cool.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., October 28, 2013, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., Hanover, with the Rev. David L. DeLong officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., October 27th, at the funeral home.
