Donald Hookom, 76, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 in Piedmont, OK. He was born in Greeley, Colorado on January 10, 1936 to Daniel and Willimenia (Burnett) Hookom. Donald enjoyed riding horses, working with horses and cattle, and attending rodeos and horse sales. He retired as a heavy equipment operator. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Willimenia Hookom. He is survived by his wife, Alice, of Piedmont, OK; two sons, Michael Dean Hookom and wife Renita of Oklahoma City and Cody William Hookom and wife Susan of Jones, OK; one daughter, Kathy Hayes and husband Peter of Piedmont, OK; one brother, Harry Dean Hookom and wife Kathy of Bloomfield, NM; sister-in-law Marlene Hookom of Greeley, CO, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Memorial services will be held 10:00 am Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Smith & Turner Mortuary Chapel in Yukon, OK
