Mrs. Charles Goetz, 73, formerly of 1121 S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday at Manitowoc County Hospital where she had been a patient for several weeks.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Goetz, the former Lillian Leist, was born Sept. 1, 1892, at Clarks Mills, daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Zahner Leist. She was married to Charles Goetz in 1911. He died in 1955. She was a member of St. Anne-CMA Society of St. Boniface Church.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Francis (Lucille) Komosa and Mrs. Edward (Marie) Kohl, of Manitowoc, Mrs. Christ (Ruth) Yurk, of Sheboygan and Mrs. John (June) Celichowski, of Roselle, Ill., a brother, John, of Manitowoc; 31 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A daughter, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm. Sunday where at 7:30 p.m., the Rosary will be recited by St. Anne Society members and the parish.

Married at St. Boniface - Charles Goetz and Miss Lillian Leist Joined in Wedlock Today

Charles Goetz and Miss Lillian Leist, well known young people of the city, were wedded this morning at 9 o'clock at St. Boniface Church, Rev. Father Peil officiating. Attending the couple were John Leist, brother of the bride and Marion Goetz, sister of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a celebration is being held this afternoon and evening at the bride's home, 1311 South Tenth Street. The wedding was a pretty one and was attended by many guests.

Mr. Goetz is a son of John Goetz and is a cabinet maker employed by Building Supply co. He is a man whose future is success. The bride is a daughter of Mr. J. Leist and is well known both in the city and at Clarks Mills where she formerly resided. The couple will reside in this city.
