(1908 - 1957)

Mrs. Walter Thompson, 47, of 1201 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald Ross will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Dorothy, daughter of Anton and Anna Wattawa Goetz was born at Manitowoc Dec. 14, 1908, and was married Aug. 28, 1941. She attended St. Boniface and Sacred Heart parochial schools and was graduated from Lincoln High School in 1927. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and was active in the Cub Scout program as a den mother at the church which is sponsored by the Holy Name Society.

Surviving her are the husband, two sons, Lee James and Charles W., at home; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Goetz, of Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. by the Daughters of Isabella.
