Charles “Charlie” William Hyatt, 86, of Amarillo died Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Ronnie Woodward, pastor of Family Worship Center, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Charlie was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Henderson to Roy and Winnie Hyatt. He married Fay Tennison in 1949.

Charlie worked as a parts manager for Allis-Chalmers Tractor Supply on Polk Street for 18 years. Later, he worked as a production technician for Pantex for 23 years and retired in 1992.

He loved to camp in the mountains, fish, play golf and work on wood crafts for the wife.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Roy Hyatt; his mother, Winnie Hyatt; and two brothers, Wayne and Harry Hyatt.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Fay Hyatt; a daughter, DeRema Dalton of Amarillo; a grandson, Wayne Dalton and wife Janene of Booker; twin great-grandsons, Colby and Collin Dalton, both of Booker; and a brother, Paul Hyatt and wife Deanna of Fairview.
