Sgt. Co. B, Unit 23rd Infantry. Stationed at Camp Date and killed by Indians in a raid. This was a Fort outside of Prescott, Arizona on a road to a deserted town. 31 men died there, all were removed to other Military Cemeterys, mainly Prescott Nation Cemetery and the Precideo in San Francisco.
You can stop in Presott at the National Cemetery for directions to Camp Date. It will require a hike but well worth it as the foundations are still there and adobe walls still standing in parts of it.
