Shirley C. Diskowski, age 87, of 929 South 22nd Street, Manitowoc, passed away on June 16, 2012, at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center.

Shirley was born on December 24, 1924, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Herman and Matilda (Fitting) Diskowski. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1943. She was employed in the office at Imperial Eastman, retiring in 1986.

She is survived by friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Herman and Matilda Diskowski; and one sister: Dorothy.

Cremation has taken place with burial of her cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery. The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory assisted with funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldpfeffer.com.
