Born July 23, 1902 in Grant County, she was a daughter of the late John G. Bergdoll and Susan (Hedrick) Bergdoll.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, William McKinley Crites, 1934 and Noah Martin Crites, 1950; two brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Crites was a member of the Baker Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Calvin D. Crites, Moorefield, Ralph W. Crites, Hanover, Pa., Eston L. Crites, Keyser; one daughter Arvella Grose, Bluewell; four brothers, Emory E. Bergdoll, Augusta, Denver J. Bergdoll, Fisher, Arlie E. Bergdoll, and Marvin Bergdoll, both of Dorcas; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel Saturday morning by Pastor A.C. Agnew, Sr., and the Rev. Lewis Paugh.
Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
