Harold Robert "Skinner" Brown, age 63, of Wellston, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011, at his residence. He was born August 22, 1948 in Wellston, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Maxine McNellis Brown. Skinner was a former construction worker. He was a long-time coach for the pee-wee league, little league and pony league baseball in Wellston, as well as a coach for the American Legion Post 371 baseball team. He is survived by 3 sons, Bob (Carol) Brown of Hamden, Richard Brown of Wellston and Greg Brown of Wellston; 5 grandsons, Austin Craig, Dakota Brown, Brandon Brown, Evan Brown and Garrett Brown; brothers and sisters, Tom Brown of Columbus, Judy Brown of Milwaukee, Wis., Connie Bush, Gary Brown, Joyce Brown, Tim Brown, Alvis Brown, Larry Brown, Anthony Brown and Kathy Dye, all of Wellston, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean Brown; brothers, Ernie Brown, James Franklin Brown, Joseph Brown, Delmus Brown and Mikey Brown; sisters, Isabella Brown, Sharon Brown and Tillie Clark, and step-son, J.P. Bugh. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 A.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
