Olga B. LaFlamme, age 88, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013. She was born November 10, 1924 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Joseph Emile Bouchoux and Madeleine Blanche Belange. She was preceded in death by her husband, William LaFlamme.
A retired Registered Nurse, Olga was devoted to her family and enjoyed cross stitch, reading, exercising, travel, and music.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean (Patrick) Wood; son, Richard (Mary) LaFlamme; grandchildren, Mark Wood, Gary (Dana) Wood, Richard (Daniela) LaFlamme and Darell LaFlamme and great grandchildren, Peyton, Nolan, Eli Wood, Lauren Wood, Daniela and Erik LaFlamme.
A Life Celebration Service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street with Dr. Don McGarity officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
