Ebba I. Ladd, age 90, of Kiel, Wisconsin, died on Tuesday August 30, 2011 at the Villa Loretto in Mount Calvary. She was born on June 27, 1921 near Oslo, Norway, daughter of the late Markus and Nora (Svensrud) Stenvig. She married John T. Ladd on Jan. 31, 1948 in Detroit, MI; he preceded her in death on October 6, 2001. Ebba was a teacher who taught school at both the university and high school levels. She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Kiel. Survivors include 2 sons; Markus Ladd of Kiel, David (Carol) Ladd of Kalamazoo, MI; 3 grandchildren; Andrew, MacKenzie, and Harrison Ladd. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Alice Steeland, and 2 brothers, John and Norman Stenvig. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday September 10, 2011 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (1212 Teckla Pl.) in Kiel. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM on Saturday until the time of services.
