Funeral services celebrating Dorothy's life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Jewett Community Church in Jewett, Illinois with Pastor Irvin Figgins officiating. Burial will be in the Janesville Cemetery in Janesville, Illinois. Visitation will be held 2 hours before the services in the church. In loving memory of Dorothy, memorials may be made to the Jewett Community Church.

Dorothy was born on November 9, 1923 in Woodbury, Illinois the daughter of William Glen and Verna Mabel (Kingery) Gentry. She married Arthur Clarence "Mike" Hannah in 1941 and he preceded her in death on October 23, 1973.
Dorothy was a homemaker and loving mother.
She was a member of the Jewett Community Church, Greenup VFW Post #4598 Ladies Auxiliary and the Greenup American Legion #566 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and cooking.
Dorothy is survived by:
Children – William Dean "Bill" (wife Bert) Hannah of Cambridge, Nebraska; Sandra Ann (husband Bernard) Brooks of Farmer City, Illinois; Richard Lee (wife Patty) Hannah of Salem, Ohio; Bryan Lee (wife Tamara) Hannah of Beecher City, Illinois; Daugher-in-Law – Pat Hannah of New Albany, Indiana; Brothers – Virgil Gentry of Greenup, Illinois; Paul Albert (wife Barb) Gentry of Charleston, Illinois; Dale (wife Frances) Gentry of Casey, Illinois; Sisters – Alene Gutmann of Springfield, Illinois; Mildred (husband Jim) Stewart of Greenup, Illinois; Shirley (husband Jim) Cisney of Newton, Illinois; Linda (husband Mike) Schrock of Greenup, Illinois; 18 Grandchildren 35 Great Grandchildren Several Great Great Grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son John Michael Hannah, grandson Tommy Mercer, great Grandson Shawn Michael Allen and brothers Ralph, Carl, Bobby and Donald Gentry.
