BAZINE - Elva Henry Niedens Sekavec, 80,
died April 10,1998, at Ness County
Hospital, Ness City.
She was born Jan. 4, 1918, at Bazine, the
daughter of Earl and Innis Rowe Henry.
A lifetime Bazine resident, she worked for
the Bazine Co-op for six years and was a
teller and bookkeeper at Bazine State Bank
for 20 years.
She belonged to United Methodist Church,
United Mmethodist Women and Ruth's Circle,
all of Bazine.
On March 23, 1941, she married Gearheart
Niedens at Larned, He died June 4,1966. On
Aug. 26,1970, she married Archie "Chick"
Sekavec at Bazine. He died March 10,1998.
Survivors include: a stepdaughter Judy Boor,
Bazine; two step grandchildren; two nephews;
and niece, Kathleen Delaney,Dighton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lyle Henry.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at United
Methodist Church, Monday, with the Revs.
Barbara and Glenn Patterson presiding. Burial
will be in Bazine Cemetery. Memorials may be
sent to the church or Bazine Emergency
Medical Technicians, both in care of Fitzgerald
