George Bohrer was the son of the late Robert W. Edward and Sadie E. Yoho Bohrer.
He was a retired pipefitter with the Plumber and Steamfitter Local #83 in Wheeling, W.Va.; a member of the Marshall Union Lodge No. 8 A.F. & A.M. in Moundsville; and Proctor Christian Church, and a WWII veteran serving with the 4th Marine Division.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Lamb Bohrer; a daughter, Diana Dugas; three sisters, Roberta Dallas, and Ruth and Lalah Bohrer; a brother, Tex Bohrer; and two brothers-in-law, Harry Rothlisberger and Dale Dallas.
Survivors include two sons, George (Virginia) Bohrer Jr. of Ashville, PA. and Robert W. (Kari) Bohrer of Nashville, TN.; five daughters, Vicky Bohrer of East Liverpool, Ohio, Deb (Jim) Frohnapfel of Proctor, Roberta (Kevin) Thomas of Liberty Township, Ohio, Rebecca (Jeff) Klug of Houston, PA., and Kim (John) Honaker of Hurricane, W.Va.; three sisters, Mary Lorentz Rothlisberger and Deloris Jean (Gene) Emch, both of New Martinsville, and Donna Jo (Paul) Cain of Proctor; a sister-in-law, Lois Dallas of New Martinsville; a son-in-law, Mike Dugas of Moundsville, W.Va.; 20 grandchildren, a great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
