OBITUARY
ADDISON — Mrs. Mabel Archer, aged 42, widow of Orman Archer of Hector, died February 9,1943 on Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock at Mt. Morris Hospital where she had been a patient for several months.
The former Miss Mabel Chatfield, she was born in Addison, NY the daughter of Samuel and Mrs. Theora Seamans Chatfield. She received her education in the Addison Schools and was married about 18 years ago to Mr. Archer. They lived in Hector for 13 years until his death after which she returned to Addison to reside with her parents.
Deceased was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was active in its various organizations. She was also a member of Addison Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include three children, Mary Charlotte, Richard and Catherine, all of Addison; her father, Mr. Chatfield; one brother, Hobart Chatfield of Los Angeles. Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Rush Shumway. Montour Falls, and three nephews.
The body will be removed from Mayer Funeral Home to the Chatfield residence on Tuscarora street where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. J. V. Axtell. pastor of the Presbyterian Church will officiate and burial will be made in Addison Rural Cemetery.
