RAYMOND FRANCIS BOROWSKI, age 74, of Berlin died Thursday, August 12, 2004. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Leon S. Borowski and Eleanor Maciejewski Borowski. He was preceded in death by a daughter Pamela Stephens in 1998 and two grandchildren Christopher Mears and William Mooney III. Mr. Borowski was a supervisor with the probate division of the Register of Wills in Baltimore for 36 years. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Boggs-Disharoon Post 123 American Legion in Berlin, MAC Center, AARP in Berlin, VFW Post 8093 in Parkville, MD, and the Moose Lodge in Ocean City. He was a seasonal worker for the Ocean City Police Dept. for six years and attended St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris, two daughters Ramona Brown (Terry) of Manchester, MD and Karen Mooney (William) of Newnan, GA, four grandchildren, Jamie Albers, Trisha Brown, Lisa Marie Mooney and Johnathan Mooney. A private service will be held at Gardens of Faith Memorial Park in Baltimore at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association Memorials and Tributes, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216 or to the American Diabetes Association, 114 Baptist St., Salisbury, MD 21803.
