Betty Ann Anderson, age 93, of Davison, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at The Oaks at Woodfield. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Friday, November 1, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. 6434 Richfield Rd., Flint. Memorial Donations may be made to Visiting Nurses Association. Betty was born April 5, 1920 in Flint the daughter of Alexander and Frances (Ring) Duncan. She graduated from Flint Central High School in 1938 and then graduated from Hurley School of Nursing. Betty was employed at several Genesee County Hospitals and many doctors' offices throughout her nursing career. She joined Visiting Nurses Association in 1957 and was dedicated to serving people. Betty loved home nursing which involved a lot of teaching. She was a long time active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Flint. Betty also helped to organize Central High School Class Reunions and she enjoyed being active with her friends in the Finisher's Club. She was a previous board member of the Flint District Nurses' Association. Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and many church friends.
