Debbie taught us all so many valuable lessons through her battle with cancer and left us amazed at how graceful, determined and strong she remained through it all. Debbie Price Unseld, 58, of Bardstown, died Thursday Oct. 31, 2013 at her brother's residence. She was born Jan. 25, 1955, in Del Rio, Texas, a member of Sigma Beta Delta while at McKendree College, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Beauford Ray Price; and a niece, Tammy Lynn Medley. Survivors include a son, Michael Ryan (Kellie) Unseld; a daughter, Heather Renee (Bruce) Hill; her mother, Mary Evelyn Ballard (Kenny) Cecil; seven brother and sisters, Richard (Linda) Price, all of Bardstown, Steve (Nancy) Price of North Carolina, Darryel Price of Lawrenceburg, Kathy (Tony) Graham of Bardstown, Pat (Charlotte) Price of North Carolina, Ken (Sue) Price of Indiana, and Gina Hutchins of Bardstown; four grandchildren, Layla Unseld, Breaunna Carey, Trinity Whitson, and Bryan Hudson; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate.
