The marriage did not last and Bedetta moved back to Coraopolis where she married John Wesley "Bud" Lee of Edgeworth, Pa around 1929 and they had three sons: John Jr, Dale and Terrence; and five more daughters: Jacqueline, June, Sandra, Joyce and Dorothy. The Lee's moved to Eau Claire, PA around 1964 with the youngest three(3)children still home. Within a few years, the family moved to Hilliards, PA and soon after, the children moved away and then "Bud" Lee died in 1973 leaving Bedetta alone.
In 1974, Bedetta married family friend and widower, Raymond "Uncle Buddy" Alexander and moved to his home in Six Points, PA. In December, 1982 Uncle Buddy passed away while they were wintering in Daytona Beach, Florida leaving Bedetta a widow once again. She liked being married and said she would marry again if she were younger! Instead, she continued to live in her mobile home at Six Points until she died on November 21, 2000 at the age of 94. She was "Grandma" to more than 35 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. At the time of her death she was survived by sister Iola Berry and brother Robert Ashville both of Newington, Hartford County, Connecticut.
