Mr. James Henry Bagley Jr. affectionately known as "Junie," was called home from labor to reward on Oct. 9, 2005, at Hampton Veteran Hospital. James was born Jan. 22, 1965 to James Bagley Sr. and Betty Jean White in Suffolk.

James attended Suffolk Public Schools. He was a 1983 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He was employed by the United States Navy for many years. He was a member of New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministry.
James was predeceased by paternal grandfather Robert Bagley Sr. and maternal grandfather Collin White Sr.

James leaves behind to cherish his memory and celebrate his life his son, Duron L. Bagley; his parents, James H. Bagley Sr. and Betty J. Bagley; his paternal grandmother, Ella Mae Bagley; his maternal grandmother Mae Anna White; his brother, Eric D. Bagley; his sister, Pulayhetta N. Lewis; two nieces, Jaquella Bagley and Jasmine Lewis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Bagley will be on view for the public from noon to 8 p.m. Oct. 14, 2005 at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors all other times at 1530 Freeman Mill Road, Suffolk.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 15, 2005 at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at the Bagley Family Cemetery in Suffolk.

The family will assemble for the funeral procession to the funeral home at noon.

Professional services are entrusted to T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home.
