Donald Wilbur Satterfield, age 80, passed away on October 30, 2013 in Parowan, Utah. He was born February 20, 1933 in Fairmont, West Virginia to Wilbur Howard and Kathleen Virginia Bevridge Satterfield. He married Barbara Tilman on September 20, 1980 in Las Vegas, NV.
Donald served our country in the Army. During the Korean War, he was stationed in Dachnu, Germany.
He attended college and received a BA in Accounting. He worked for an accounting firm for the Department of Energy and Power Company in West Virginia. He also worked for Circus Circus. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He was an avid Karaoke Singer.
Donald is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children Todd Satterfield, Beverly (Joe) Nelson of Las Vegas, NV, Curtis (Brenda) Boucher of Circleville, UT and Deborah (Phil) Iverson of Las Vegas, NV; 11 grandchildren,; 15 great-grandchildren; his sister Doris Swaim. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Dodd, his father, Wilbur Satterfield and his step-son, Kenneth Boucher.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:00 am at the LDS Paragonah Chapel. Viewings will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 am both at the LDS Paragonah Chapel. Interment will follow at the Paragonah Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
