Ruth Hazel Carroll, age 96, of LaFollette went to heaven Thursday, October 31, 2013.

Ruth was born in Caryville on March 2, 1917. She was a 50 year member of West LaFollette Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents John & Minnie (Reynolds) Hill; husband John Carroll, Jr.; brothers Lawerence, Fletcher, Elmer, John, Luther, RB, & JD Hill; sisters Lillie Phillips, Ethel Prather, & Ruby Vincent.

She is survived by her son Gary Carroll & wife Teresa of Jacksboro, granddaughters Ashley Carroll and Brooke McKamey, and 2 great-grandsons Levi Young and Lindon McKamey.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home.

Graveside service and interment will follow the visitation at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating.
