Mrs. Guinn Guinnip died Wednesday night at 11:30 o'clock at he home on West Water street, after an extended illness. She was born Eleanor Mary Warder, in Washington, D.C., forty-nine years ago. She was united in marriage with Mr. Guinnip February 10, 1885, in Washington, and had resided in Elmira about 20 years. She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Mary E. Warder, of Washington, D.C., four brothers, John B. and Benton of Chicago, James E. and Frank H. of New York city; also a sister, Mrs. Lillie E. Hazard, of Washington, D.C. The funeral was held at the Guinnip residence on upper West Water street, Friday at 2:30 p.m. The deceased was a member of Trinity church choir about five years. The body was taken to Watkins on a special Glen Route car, which was run to the Guinnip residence and then direct to Watkins. Burial was in the family plot in the Watkins cemetery.
