COURTLAND-- Robert "Bob" Lewis Cosby Sr., 75, died Monday, May 4, 2009, at his residence.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home. Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Cosby, born Nov. 1, 1933, to the late Johnnie William and Leslie Loraine McMinn Cosby, was the owner of Robert L. Cosby Company in Courtland. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Ann M. Heafner Cosby of Courtland; one daughter, Carrie Ann Cosby Davis of Batesville; three sons, Robert L. Cosby Jr., Michael Lynn Cosby and Kevin Lee Cosby, all of Courtland; two brothers, J.W. "Bill" Cosby Jr. and Charles Cosby of Courtland; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
