Mrs. Pauline Church DeShazo, 91, of 217 North Elam Ave., died Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Britthaven of Guilford.

A graveside service will be held for Mrs. DeShazo at 11 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2000, in Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. DeShazo was born in Miller's Creek, Jan. 19, 1909, to the late Jarvis and Ila Warren Church. She was a member of College Place United Methodist Church and the Builder's Class. Mrs. DeShazo was a graduate of Woman's College, now UNC-G. She was a vanguard and member of the Harriet Elliott Society and a member of the Commentator's Book Club.

Mrs. DeShazo was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin DeShazo Sr.

Survivors include two sons, Edwin DeShazo Jr. and Dameron DeShazo, both of Greensboro; sister, Elizabeth Lankford of Elkin; brothers, Bill Church of Winston-Salem and Sam Church of Roaring River; grandson, Dameron Elkins of Virginia Beach, Va.; and one great-granddaughter, Jacqueline Elkins of Virginia Beach, Va.

Mrs. Pauline Church DeShazo, 91, of 217 North Elam Ave., died Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Britthaven of Guilford.
