Mrs. Wilhelmina (Menice) Meetis, 62, wife of Frank Meetis of 883 Somerset Avenue, who died suddenly at her home yesterday, was a native of this city. She was daughter of the late Manuel M. and Frances (Travers) Menice. Her husband was a former dog officer for Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, David of Taunton; two sisters, Mrs. Victoria Carew of Taunton and Mrs. Elsie Jones of Bridgewater; four brothers, Joseph Menice of Hingham, Manuel Menice of Weymouth, Frank Menice of Taunton and Anthony Menice of Taunton; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Menice was a victim of accidental drowning yesterday morning. Medical Examiner Joseph E. Nunes said she became ill while taking a bath at her home and drowned.
