Mary Evelyn Adams, age 84 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012. There will be a private Graveside Service at Crestview Memory Gardens on Monday, November 26th with Rev. Eugene May officiating. Pallbearers will be Leslie Vincent, Ronald Key, Zachary Darnell, Johnny Russell, Jr., Wayne Hall and Jeff Hall. Visitation will be Sunday, November 25th from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams was born October 4, 1928 in Nashville, TN daughter of the late Ollie and Mettie Toy Martin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Bennett C. Adams, Sr.; daughter, Judy Mincey; brothers, Harvey Martin and Everett Martin and sister, Olga Gill. She is survived by sons, Johnny Russell (Carolyn), Bennett "Benny" Adams, Jr. (Rita); daughters, Lynda Vincent (Leslie) and Brenda Roberts (Ronald Key) all of Gallatin; grandchildren, Jason Lamb, Ben Adams III (Jennifer), Alicia Hall, Zachary Darnell, Brittany Russell and Johnny Russell, Jr. and six great grandchildren. Mrs. Adams worked at Jack & Jill Kindergarten, Gary Manufacturing and Fountain of Youth Beauty Shop.
