Charles William Campbell, died suddenly, Thursday, September 18, 2003. He was born September 1, 1953. A gentle, quiet soul that enjoyed music, antique short wave radios, nature, scary movies, and playing according to his own rules. Although he was a very private person, his life touched those who knew him in a special way. Charles possessed a keen inquiring, scientific mind, dry wit, and a compassion for others. He always loved to express his enthusiasm for life's smallest events. He could repair and rebuild anything mechanical, and frequently did. An accomplished guitarist, in his youth he performed in rock bands in Mankato and the Twin Cities. He graduated from Mankato West High School in 1973. He then attended Mankato Technical Institute and received his associates degree in appliance repair. He was employed for many years at Honeywell Avionics and recently by Versa Technology in Minneapolis. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Reverend William J.
