Mom (Imogene Acord Willams) was born on Oct 23,1924 to Perry and Ada Acord in Dyer AR. Mom was a twin and her brother was Uldene Acord.Mom was one out of eight children. She had five brothers and two sisters. She went to school but never finish the eight grade and never attened high school. She had to work with the family in the cotton feilds. Mom had three chrildren after she was married,Richard,Shirley,and Donald. Mom worked as a nurse until she retired in later years. She went through some hard times looseing her first son at the age of 24 months. She took care of her second son Donald untill his passing. Mom was a very strong woman. She loved going to the State Line and playing the slots or to Laughlin. Mom was always there for the family. She was headstrong and stubbon at times but aren't we all? LOL. Mom was Smart, Comforting, Loving, Affectionate, Wise, and gave the Best Advice.
Mom has 3 Grand Children,Michael, Cynthia, and David, and Seven Great Grand Children, Joshua,Sarah, Danielle, Jonathan,Tyler,Nathan and Brooke.
We are all going to miss her she gave her all to the family . We all Love you Mom and you will be Forever in Our Hearts!!
You are at Peace now and with your Family in Heaven.

If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
And tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
But there's an ache within my heart
Because I am missing her today.
