1962 - Mrs. Mabel H. (Delong) Groman of 1546 Maumee Ave., Allentown, wife of Clarence M. Groman, died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital. She was 58. Born in Spring Mount, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Ammon and Margaret (Hunsberger) Delong. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Ray and David, both of Allentown, and Russell of Hellertown; four daughters, Margaret, wife of Willard Heiserman, Allentown; Alice, wife of Edward Hillegass, Quakertown; Betty, wife of John Kroscez, Bethlehem, and Nancy, wife of John Lint of New Tripoli; six sisters, Mrs. Elsie Schirmer, Hackensack, N.J.; Mrs. Sarah Carlson, Lapeer, Mich.; Mrs. Gertrude Barraclough, Emmaus; Mrs. Margaret Achey, Mrs. Mary Richard and Mrs. Eva Lohrman, all of Allentown; two brothers, Ernest and Raymond, both of Allentown, and 19 grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Werley Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Viewing will be 7-8:30 p.m. tomorrow.
