April Shavon Evans was born on May 29, 1981 at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, MS. She was called home on the morning of November 05, 2013 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS.
April confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Lighthouse Church of The Apostolic Faith in Moss Point, MS. April graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1999. She also did advanced study at MGGCC.
April accepted employment with Wal-Mart Corporation where she worked faithfully until her health prevented her to continue. April always had a love for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Q.Z Daughtry and a Uncle, Calvin Robinson.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted parents, Debra and Rocky Evans; two brothers, Rocky "Quinton" and Corey "Jermaine" Evans, Moss, Point MS; one sister, Briana Evans, Moss Point, MS. Her niece Allasia Evans, Moss Point, MS., Her Maternal Grandmother, Gail Bass, Her Paternal Grandmother Claretha Evans. Her Paternal Grandfather, Joe Evans; Her Pet whom was especially dear to her heart, Kotton Evans; eight aunts, Valeria Daughtry, Knoxville, TN, Victoria (Felix) Fornett, LaDrea (Gerland) Richardson, and Brenda Evans all of Pascagoula, Ms, JoAnn (Hillard) Williams, and Regina Evans, Moss Point, MS, Verna Evans, Gautier, MS, and Ywellen Evans, Atlanta , GA ; and four uncle, Joe Evans and Kenneth Evans, Moss Point, MS, William "David" Evans, Pascagoula, MS and Alex Evans, Mobile AL. Her God Child, London Johnson, Knoxville, TN. God Mother, Evon Sipp-Easterling. Four devoted friends, Brook Williams, Salina Smith, Christine Logan, and Yvette Brown; and a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Lighthouse Apostolic Church, 3831 Kellogg Street, Moss Point, MS. Viewing will begin one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Gabriel Cemetery, Pascagoula, MS
