Forbes, Daniel M.Daniel Mark Forbes, of Manitowoc, died peacefully Sunday, January 10, 2016.Daniel was born on June 13, 1923 in Portage, WI, son of the late Carl and Marie (Buehler) Forbes. He was a WWII veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife: Barbara; daughter: Marie. Survivors include his four daughters: Susan Forbes (Ray Derpinghaus), Shorewood; Margaret Forbes (Gary Olson), Los Angeles; Patricia Abraham (Jim), Madison, Sheila Forbes (Joe Ockwig), Minneapolis. He was the proud grandfather of Thomas Derpinghaus (Rosa DeAcosta), Peter (Erica) Derpinghaus, Jeffrey Abraham, Anne Abraham, Mary Forbes and Fiona Forbes, and also the cherished great grandfather of Yago.Private funeral services were held at The Blessed Angela Chapel of St. Mary's Home. The Rev. Gerald Foley celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial with burial of his cremated remains at Resurrection Cemetery, Mequon.
