Anna Ashburn Davis, 86, of White Stone, Va. passed away at Mizpah Health Care Center, in Locust Hill, Va. on Friday, November 8, 2013.
Anna was the manager of the Tots to Teens, and Mommies Shop in Kilmarnock, Va. and she sold clothing at other high end dress shops throughout the local area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifton "J.C." Davis, Jr.; her parents, Hubbard and Mary Ashburn of Weems, a brother, Pete Pfister; and a grandson, Hubbard Davis II.
She is survived by her sons, Cliff Davis and his wife, Donna, Hubbard Davis and his wife, Joanne; grandsons, James and Joshua Davis; granddaughters, Sarah Patterson and Courtney Martinez. Her great-grandchildren include, Christian Craig, Madison, Savannah, and Kennedy Davis, Delaware James Patterson, and Isabella and Miguel Martinez.
Anna was a passionate, energetic woman of her time and she will be remembered for the love she showed to her family, her church, and the community. Although she lived in White Stone,Weems, Va. was always in her heart.
A viewing will be held from 3:00 until 5:00p.m. , Thursday, November 14 at Currie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Claybrook Baptist Church in Weems, Va.
