HERBERT LEE ARMSTRONG

The death of Herbert Lee Armstrong occurred at the Dansville hospital on Nov 2, 1917, after a short illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong started for Rochester, Tuesday, October, 29th, where Mr. Armstrong was to be under the care of a specialist, but he was taken suddenly worse on the way and had to stop at Dansville, where his death occurred. Mr. Armstrong was born April 23, 1875, at Geneseo, N. Y. He was the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cicero Armstrong of Pavilion. Mr. Armstrong always lived at Pavilion until thirteen years ago, since which time he has been a resident of this town. Deceased was united in marriage to Miss Teresa Kurtz, April 15, 1903, who survives him with a daughter, Pauline. He also leaves two sisters and four brothers, Mrs. M. E. Doty of Charlotte, Mrs. Frank Court, Fred,Carl and James Armstrong of Pavilion and Frank Armstrong of Perry. Ffuneral services were held at his late home on Potter Hill, November 5, Rev. E. S. Hill of South Loon Lake officiating. The remains were taken to Pavilion; here short services were held at the grave. He was a kind and loving husband I and father, and will be greatly missed by the surviving members of his, family, and also by a large circle of friends.
