Tuesday at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
Mr. Grosshuesch was born Jan. 29, 1878, in the Town of
Newton, son of the late William and Margaretha Neuhaus Grosshuesch. He attended schools in the Town of Newton. He married Anna Grosshuesch Dec. 26,1899. The couple farmed in the Town of Newton until 1914, moving to Manitowoc, where he was employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. In 1926, they moved to Milwaukee where he was employed at Hanson Storage Co. They returned to Manitowoc after his retirement in 1957. Mrs. Grosshuesch preceded him in 1967. Mr. Grosshuesch was a member Of the St. John United Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Adelia)
Marshek and Mrs. Walter(La Vern) Dolezal, of Manitowoc
and Mrs. Lawrence (Linda)Goldsmith of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. John (Hulda)Krueger, of Ventnor, N.J., and Mrs. Robert (Meta) Scheffler,of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A son, three brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the time of service.
